Ripley use hideously expensive barrels :o . If you are thinking of buying a Ripley, and need some extra cash, the good news is , I will take the IMP off your hands  .. Well , I can dream

Ripley Elite uses Lothar Walther, according to Wighill Park Guns, who are selling them at £500, reduced from £650. AR5S also uses LW

The Imp is safe with me Martin and I cant see it going anywhere as because its my cheapest rifle and is indepandant of an air supply if for any reason I need the cash all the other stuff would go first.

Am just thinking of trying the better the barrel on my MK4 as am not happy with its accuracy yet and ive tried alot of pellets, the best being H&N Barracuda and Brocock`s/ Crosmans but they still werent as good as I would like.

I can also see a Ripley on my cabinet by christmas but will see how the pennys go.
I hope they ship because I dont fancy the drive up there. Failing that or I will have to wait till Gary next goes and give him some fuel money to jump in with him.

Hi Matt,

If you are talking about the Ripley, Ripley Rifles and not the 'Hogan'.

I was hoping Mantonflint (Brian) may have picked this up, as he knows just about everything, in the mean time, I have dropped a note to the boys and see if I can get the details for you. Where do you live? I maybe taking a trip up there in the next few weeks as they have one of the last XL25's that I maybe be tempted to look at.

This would be the £499 Hogan Ripley Elete, I know its not a true Ripley beut still a true ripley like an AR5 would cost alot more and I have a fair bit on my shopping / wish list and not enough pennys for it all so got to work out whats coming first.
F1 Chrony most likely, then either a Ripley or HW 97KT and a scope to go on it !
