just bought an airwolf. while in the shop the bloke tried to sell me the Airstream silencer. it should have been like selling water in the desert but thankfully i asked him to fire it with and without. i was quite surprised by just how noisey the gun was after doing my research and reading the reviews. Thankfully i was part ex'ing my HW95 and we swapped the Weihrauch silencer onto it. What a big difference. my advice is to buy the Weihrauch silencer, tenner cheaper and far far quieter (longer though ;-(

As you say the HW looks a lot longer and how quiet do you need to be in reality?

I now have the Airstream MK6 and like most of the Airstream silencers they are a reflex silencer and will do nothing until a pellet is fired from the gun of which I assume never happened. This new version works very well on my Daystate MK3/4 and hushes it so much so that I could be shooting in the garden and the neighbours would not hear me.
Daystate Mk3/4 MK3 .177 upgraded to MK4 board, AGS Cobalt Redi-Mount 6-24x50 AO IR Rifle Scope, Universal Airstream MK6 carbon fibre reflex silencer.
Benjamin Trail NP pistol .177 fitted with a PAO 2x20mm scope. John
