Recommend me a bi pod

Postby Steve g » 30 Oct 2016, 22:06

Hi all,....so my lad has fitted a deben 9-13 bi pod to his ranger. This is the first time I've shot any rifle with one and I may be swayed into getting one. I'm thinking which one should I get for my wolf?
The one he has fitted seem ok but I'm wondering if I'd benefit from a smaller one or one that tilts.

Any recommendations of what you have fitted, or past experiences
Cheers Steve.

Hi Steve, if I use a bipod it's mainly Harris which I favour, that said Edgar Bros and Uttings have some good gear, in general you get what you pay for, have a clear idea what you are going to use it for.

Thanks, I do a bit of both hunting and targets but it'll be mostly used for targets of a table . So maybe the smaller 6-9?
I'm in no rush so I'll have a browse round. Just wondered about people's thoughts / experience
Harris do seem to be the most popular

I test fire a lot of rifles from the bench, I generally use my well padded shooting bag to rest my supporting hand on.
