MK4-iS 100 yds. on Helium

In the world of airguns, there has never been anything quite like Daystate’s patented electronic system. Building on the ground- I breaking MK3 system, the latest Map Compensated Technology (MCT ) that’s fitted to the new MK4 iS models turns a revolutionary system into an evolutionary one, providing total shooting control from the advanced software programs that power it.

Corky
I sent an email to Daystate tech dept. asking them way this is, they are good at answering. My MK4 would show 33.3 bar as I filled it and not change only show 33.3 till I shut the safety off and on again then it was correct but after every shoot it would change, well we will see what Daystate has to say.

From Daystate about 33.3 bar
To Daystate from me:
Question when I drained the air out of the MK4-iS completely it still reads 33.3 bar and when I filled it to 230 bar on my gauge it still shows 33.3 bar till I turn the safety off and back on then it show the right pressure so as I fill it the pressure does not change but as I shoot it, the pressure changes every shoot is there a reason for that?

Daystate answer:
Yes, that is correct. 33.3 is the least the sensor can calibrate indicating rifle is empty. Activating safety will recalibrate rifle, and then continue to calibrate during the firing cycle. What you see is correct.

If you fill the rifle in program mode 3, you can actually see the pressure in real time during the fill procedure.
Problem solved why the bar gauge only goes to 33.3 bar

100% helium 22 shoots from 230 bar to 150 bar
100% air 31 shoots from 230 bar to 150 bar
Crosman and Air Arms pellet brake the sound barrier and are very loud the JSB are quiet even on Helium only traveling at 917 fps with 63.38 Ft.Lbf.
The fun thing is when I emptied the gun of air and it read 33.3 bar and it read 33.3 bar with all the Helium out.

Thanks Kempy,

Well did a little testing with a JSB Jumbo Diabolo 15.89gr got 90% of the pellets down to 1 inch W X 7/8 H using 10% helium use more helium it was to fast and they wandered and air was to slow they dropped to much. So I got the speed at 950fps to 960fps was the sweet spot for this pellet tried AA's 16gr not as good just under 2 inch dia. and FX's 16gr under 1.5 inch dia. the JSB worked the best so far and they all had the odd one or so go on a side trip for some reason or another.

Empty setting for Daystate is 33.3 bar something to do with the programs so from 0-33.3 it reads 33.3 then climbs .
