Defiant and Defiant HFT

Postby cornish kev » 23 Jul 2014, 17:35

We have a few members at the club with various makes of rifle using Defiant and Defiant HFT that are getting better results at 55yds than JSB etc.

So in short don't rule them out when testing pellets.

I so wanted these to work in my MK4. Put about 400 of each size through it after a barrel clean but they didn't group well enough at 45 yards to be a considered suitable for anything

I know its a old topic, but i'm going to put my two penath in anyway. I use defiants in both .177 and .22. i use the.177s in my wolverine and they group well, i used them in my wolf, before i sold it, and they gave good groups out to 60plus yds . I've used the .22s in a sweet 16, and got good groups out to 45-50 yds. I'm now using them in my rapid mk1, one hole group at 30 yds, over 5 shots. Now the better weather is here will check out both rapid & mk 1 over longer range's. Will let you no how i get on!!

I believe all moulds machinery etc to make these has been bought by H&N so not made by PAX anymore.

If not already then H&N will start manufacture probably under different name.
