hi

Not many pellets handle the power, I would start with Bisley magnum, H&N Barracuda, JSB exact heavy 18gr, AA field heavy 18gr.

On low power ( around 30ftlb) then 16 or 18 gr JSB/AA field or most 14-18 gr pellets are fine :D

My Air Wolf shoots the following pellets best (in descending order)

Hi Power:
- H&N Barracuda Match 21.14gr (5.51mm head size)
Image
- Eun Jin Domed 28.4gr
Image
- Beeman Kodiak Extra Heavy 21.14gr (5.50mm head size)
Image

Power 2:
- JSB Diabolo Exact Jumbo 15.89gr (5.52mm head size)
Image
- JSB Match Diabolo Exact Jumbo Heavy 18.13gr (5.52mm head size)

Overall, I get the best groupings using the Power 2 setting out to 40 yards. Beyond 40 yards, I get better grouping using Hi Power.

I use Baracuda 5.51 (I got a noticeable improvement when I switched from 5.52) at 35ft/lb. At the moment I only use it at night with a Yukon Photon NV scope, which limits my reliable range - I try to get to 30m or less. I zero at 25m and roughly speaking between about 12m-30m it is not worth trying to hold over/under as the POI only shifts by less than 1cm. Then for some reason by 35m the POI has dropped by about 3cm. I have to say I'm surprised by this - although I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than me will be able to explain why?
