My first Daystate and best rifle EVER

Postby GreenBayPackersMan » 16 Feb 2016, 00:32

Hi...a few months ago i treated myself to the .177 version of the .303 wolverine which was hard to find, is a fantastic gun and have since learned after a chat at the British Shooting show 2016 with Tony Belas at Daystate that only 50 were made ... This was my second set up hour with my new gun scope combo I wanted the most accurate zero as i could get so used my most local indoor range which is set at 25 meters and this was the result of a 10 shot group with just resting my gun on my tack bag... with the first pellet make used which are .177 Exact Premium Diablo which seemed to suit straight away given the group size was around a quarter of a 5 pence piece .Thanks Daystate for the best Air rifle I've ever owned

When they were launched, I thought, lucky Americans, won't be long now before the .22 powder puff version will be available in UK. I even sold my two beautiful Mk4 rifles, in anticipation.... It never happened . A good looking and accurate rifle you have there. Only 50, I don't believe it !!

Yes Corky took me ages to find a .177 12 ftlb here in the Uk and have not seen one since .I spoke to a couple of people at Daystate including Tony at the gun show and apparently they made 50 initially and only sold 30 the first year so stopped production and wont make any more just to sell one or two .Was going to put a sling on but thinking twice now as stocks could be hard and very expensive to replace if any problems occur ...will have to keep this one very safe ...
