Fancy one of these? US Army tests smart-rifle scope. ;)
Brian

The US Army is testing a smart-rifle technology that promises to fire only if a target is properly lined up and which can compensate for weather conditions.

That is scary stuff!!!

Mind you given a few generations, will this type of technology become to be too heavily relied upon? Could this be the end of true marksman's skills? - Just looking at the kids today with their ipads, phones etc.... want to have some fun? Turn off the router or rub a magnet over the SIM card, stand back and watch how they behave! - Akin to a Dalek meeting some steps!

Nice find Brian
